Oral Histories

VALUE EVERY VOICE

Described as "part of the struggle of memory against forgetting," oral histories are personal commentaries which have historical significance.

The oral histories collected through our projects are a bridge of understanding between young and old: they reflect how radically life has changed in the past 70 years.

Oak Note SCIO values each voice - we need to preserve and pass down personal histories before these hidden memories are lost.
